They also took the time to share recommendations for activities, towns to visit, and restaurants in the area. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a nice time. "we had some problems with our shower flooding on day one but maintenance crews were there right away, also had trouble with hot water in the shower (a lack thereof) but I guess that 's to be expected on a island with delicate plumbing. Otherwise, hotel was lovely. Can't say much for breakfast - it was the same thing every day with only a choice of egg style, but served the purpose. I would say I recommend the hotel, but there are so many other fabulous places to stay and I think there are...

For families that want to stay in an authentic area of Santorini, I highly recommend Acrblue luxury villas. L'hotel è molto bello, curato e pulito ha una posizione alta in collina con una arietta fantastica a pochi minuti dal mare e poco lontana dalla confusione del centro (con mezzo affittato). "We had a lovely stay at Kokkinos villas, the views were breathtaking, the hotel room was amazing, breakfast had many options and was plentiful. They had the most accommodating staff as well, we were a bit early but they were able to help us check in a little earlier and call our rental company where we booked our ATV’s so we can explore Akrotiri while we waited. We had a wonderful stay and recommend this spot for couples, honeymooners or if you want a peaceful stay in Santorini 💕"

When we raised this, the owner claimed he has multiple rooms within the same category and therefore considered it acceptable to provide a different room. The property had numerous serious issues: no cold water, no functioning air conditioning upon arrival, a dirty bathroom, a dirty and unusable hot tub, and construction work directly...
