"The Wallaby Backpackers Hostel is falling to peaces, very noisy, gruby, the free breakfast is a joke, milk cereal and coffee, no elevator if you have heavy luggage, better off paying a little extra for a proper hotel."

"Clean room but very worn out. Needs tlc. Old fan in one bedroom oom that is very noisy, no fan in the other room. Decor could do with a repaint and the bathroom tiles need renewing. Not bad for an emergency stay though. Staff were very welcoming and Eddie couldn't do enough to help."

"It was a pleasant stay however wrestling with the sheets which were too small for the bed was annoying..The gym had new machines and the pool was nice .. The rooftop area was very relaxing .. "

"The room was so small and one chair as a bedside table. The bed was so close to the window that one of us had to climb over to get into bed. It definitely wasn’t worth it for the price."

"Very much satisfied with the 4-night stay. The room is well cleaned up and has enough space with a kitchen. The staff at the front desk were all friendly and provided enough neighbouring information. The location is about 10-15 minutes walk from the central but the free bus service are conveniently provided. The circumstances in the area is quiet and relaxing. Strongly recommended."

"The hotel is conveniently located next to Mount Hospital where a family member was having an operation. Staff were very friendly and helpful and happily accommodated any requests. Room was clean and spacious, bed was comfortable and there were nice views of the city from our balcony. Restaurant had delicious food and coffee was very nice. Would definitely recommend "

"I had a wonderful stay at the OBH. The staff are brilliant and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. You are right opposite Cotesloe beach which is stunning. Right next door it a cool and chilled out pub with great food. Around the corner is a laundramat if you are staying longer. Very accessible to Perth centre and Freo, or further afield if you rent a car.. I enjoyed it so much that I have already booked my flight and accommodation there for next year (Feb 2027). Shout out to...
