"Marine hotel in Tankerton was very comfortable. It was extremely cold while we were there but lovely lady in housekeeping gave us a radiator for our room which really helped warm the room. All staff, particularly Karen on reception and Patsy in the restaurant, plus many whose names I don’t know who really were excellent for which we thank you all so much for making our stay so enjoyable! "

"About a 20-minute walk from the centre, this place is in a convenient and easy-to-reach location. The check-in instructions were clear and straightforward, which made arrival completely stress-free. Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is at 10am. With a relatively late check-in time and quite an early check-out, a later check-out option would be much appreciated. The room was lovely, with a very comfortable bed that ensured a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was on the minimalistic side, but still...

"Wincheap B and B is a great place to stay when visiting Canterbury. Great location (just outside city walls and 15 minutes walk to cathedral), lovely spacious, comfortable, clean room with TV, fan, fridge, kettle, tea and coffee, and the breakfast is excellent. Terry and Chris are great hosts, and gave us a map and suggested walking routes. Highly recommend"

"The one thing that stood out to me most of all was the staff!! Wow!! For this alone I would come back and travel 2 hours from home just to visit the staff again! What wonderful care and attention the man and the young lady at the front desk took! Thank you for a wonderful stay! Food is 5* minimal but just what you need and always being refreshed and topped up!. Rooms are basic but clean and tidy! "
