"Before I even arrived, I received a “goodbye” email — not exactly a welcoming start. Check‑in isn’t allowed until 4pm, yet the lobby closes at 5pm, which is incredibly inconvenient and not customer‑oriented. I didn’t meet a single staff member during my entire stay. The room had multiple issues from the moment I walked in. The towels appeared dirty, and what looked like blood stains on one of the pillows was completely unacceptable. The thermostat was set to 68°, yet the room climbed to 85°...

"Excellent location, easy self-checkin, responsive offsite staff. The room was cozy, clean, and included everything I needed. The only issue was noise - I could hear the people who checked-in above me from 5 pm till they finally went to bed a little after midnight. People seem oblivious to how easily impact noise travels in old NE construction. My room was also overlooking the parking lot and noise carried up easily from that."

"My husband and I were in the area for a surgery and because of a reservation mishap at a different hotel we found ourselves having to make a same day reservation at Candlewood. Doug and the rest of the staff made our arrival and check in a breeze, they were even able to accommodate our special requests. "Wonderful room, cool decor and such a neat building. The bed was super comfortable and the space to hang out in the room was relaxing. Location is perfect for browsing the shops and eating out. Using text to communicate with the concierge was also very convenient and easy."
