Top North Shore Hotel Reviews

Rockport Inn And Suites
6/10 Okay
"The room rate was affordable so you get what you pay for. The rooms are dated and in need of a complete refurbishing. The room had a musty odor as soon as you walked in. There is ample parking and All the rooms face a parking lot so there are no views at all. It is a good 20 minute walk to town and not all of the streets have sidewalks."

The Cove At Salem

"You know that friend who remodeled their house after soaking on Instagram? This hotel had that vibe. Cute and seemingly modern at first glance. Clean, simple. Wet bar and beverage fridge. But furniture not fully assembled. A bed frame that uses cheap shelving brackets, shower curtain hung too low so you’re standing on it in the shower. The table was too small to even play a board game on. Nearly 9$ for a can of cider from the lobby mini fridge. Felt like it was trying to be more than it was. I’m not a local so maybe the price is what it is for the area."

The Salem Inn

"Easy check-in and great location. Breakfast staff was so friendly and helpful in giving us tips for our trip."

DoubleTree by Hilton Boston North Shore

"Excellent stay. Hotel is clean and easy to get to. Only 30-45 min from Boston. 20 min from Singing Beach at Manchester on the Sea. Pool is nice. Water park next door great for kids. Free parking."

The Northshore Hotel - Boston/Danvers
4/10 Poor
"I made the reservation just to have somewhere to sleep with my family for one night. When we arrived at the room at around 10pm, we heard low music playing from one of the nearby rooms. As the time progressed, the music kept getting louder, to the point where it was vibrating through the walls. There was also loud chatter and doors slamming. Some sort of party going on. At around 1:40am, instead of coming to see where the commotion was coming from, we received a phone call as we were trying to sleep through the noise, from the front desk assuming it was coming from our room. They stated that they received a noise complaint and we let them know that it was not coming from our room. It was not until about 3-3:30am, when someone from the office finally went and shut down the party. We had a terrible night and barely slept since we had to be up early the next morning to continue our long drive. When we checked out, they didn't offer any type of full or partial refund, even though they stated they received multiple complaints. Other than that, the room was clean and reasonable for a short stay."

Salem Waterfront Hotel & Suites
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel is in a great location in the historic downtown area of Salem within walking distance to many attractions including museums and shops. It’s also very close to multiple great restaurants. The room was very clean, bright and pleasant. Shower had fantastic pressure. Staff was helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again."

Castle Manor Inn
8/10 Good
"Beautiful inn with a lovely view. Rooms were exceptionally clean and had a full size balcony to be enjoyed. Plenty of parking and pleasant staff. Conveniently located off the highway and near the event I attended. My one major complaint was no mention from the staff or signage that the buffet breakfast was NOT included as part of your stay. I had to do a deep dive into the listing on hotels.com to discover the fee. It would be helpful to have a sign in the breakfast area mentioning this. I felt ambushed when I was handed the bill."
