"This hotel is a great location on Vilano Beach, steps from the beach, close to restaurants and a grocery store. They do allow dogs which can be heard barking regularly as people leave their dogs in the rooms. Also, I had several neighbors that would shout down the hall at each other and one of them would leave their door open and the family would yell at each other from across the room - like they've never stayed in a hotel before! Very annoying.
The beach chairs and umbrellas were extra costs and both umbrellas I had were broken but I was still charged. Pool was full of kids dive bombing and running around so it wasn't very relaxing to sit down there. Breakfast was fair, mostly high carb foods which I can't eat but there was yogurt and an egg dish daily. My fridge was way too cold and ruined most of the food I bought. Housekeepers were very friendly but didn't bring towels one day, never wiped down counters or tables and didn't replace toilet paper so I had to use tissues the last day I was there.
It was cost effective but I probably wouldn't stay here again. Spend the extra money and stay at the Hyatt."
