"The location was beautiful. The room however leaves much to be desired. Had to have the maintenance guy on retainer. The DW needed repair, the jacuzzi was broken . The toaster started to smoke. The furniture needs to be updated. The balcony door needed some WD40. Everything needs an update especially for a timeshare."

"The place is nice, clean, rooms very clean. Only thing is the parking. You have a small parking area at the hotel and it fills up fast. So they did have parking attendants that would take cars across the street and park them there in a separate parking lot. Also there is a $18 fee for parking per day. Never heard of that in all the years of staying in VA beach. I had the breakfast buffet the next morning and it was good for the price and food was good also. We stayed on the 4th floor with a room overlooking the beach and it was a nice view. The hallway going to the room was a scorcher in direct sunlight. The staff was nice, but the parking is something. First time in my life having to pay extra to park at a hotel."

"Great Atmosphere. The only con is the restaurants (Catch 31) closes at 10 or 11. And the pool closes at 9pm which is a bummer "

"We drove from NYC to the hotel, got there at 11:30 and they told us we have to wait for check in time. Went back at 4:30 and the room still was not ready until 5:30. They need to deal better with time "

"Room: found used press on nails on the floor, a slipper from a previous guest, a pair of underwear in the bathroom in the cubby where washcloths and hand towels were (behind the towel) that smelled terribly of urine, stains on the floor and bedding, and broken sink drain. Shower and sink water did not get hot. Pool: heater was broken and hot tub did not work."
