"Overall, I had a really good time. The food was actually very good compared to some of the reviews that I saw that mentioned it was mediocre. The transportation staff were top-tier and their driving abilities are unmatched. The only thing is that I did call and asked for the in room snacks to be stocked, but that was never done during my time."

"The Andaz Costa Rica Resort at Peninsula Papagayo was incredible and truly exceeded our expectations. The resort was beautifully maintained, with breathtaking scenery at every turn. We especially loved the pools, the seamless boat rides to the beach club, and the consistently friendly and attentive staff. One of the highlights was enjoying our morning coffee at sunrise while listening to the howler monkeys—an unforgettable and uniquely Costa Rican experience."

"The staff was awesome! They were all very nice and helpful. The property was nice and clean. Rooms were clean and cleaned daily. It is hilly but we never had any issues with getting a golf cart. Pool was nice, clean and drinks were delicious. My only complaint was the food. It isnt the best just like any other all-inclusive. The Guys restaurant by the pool had a good chicken sandwich, burgers were ok. My wife liked the coffee shop...cheesecake was pretty good there also. Entertainment was good...

"We had a great stay at the W. It was a beautiful resort with helpful staff. There was some wear and tear on furniture in the room but didn’t impact the stay. It was definitely pricey but paying for the brand. Only thing I wish was that for families traveling the adult only pool is beautiful and we will there were some hours that kids could enjoy the space as well."

"The Costa Rican people were very friendly. The room was very clean. The pool was a good size and has a bar pool. It is definitely family friendly. Staff was great and helpful. Most people spoke some English. The beach was lovely, although when the tide came in in the afternoon the ocean got rough. We had a wonderful week."

"Room needed updates; request for water and beer in room needed to be requested daily, which we sometimes never got water for day; ac unit broke twice- no ac to sleep; pool bar ran out of drinks on Sunday; flies at pool bar was overwhelming; toilet clogged first day there; food was below average; staff was great- welcoming and friendly. Beach was great- no rush to grab chairs.. if looking to hub to travel Costa Rica- this is place; if looking for pampering vacation- find somewhere else."
