"We were in town for the college World Series and this was one of the cheapest places to stay ($180/night vs. $900/night). It’s a place where construction crews and other laborers stay for extended work jobs. It’s not for families with kids. There are people here who a permanent residents. That said, the rooms were clean but had no amenities. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. There were a bunch of people there who were there for the college World Series, many who said they wouldn’t...

"Since it’s the only hotel in Glenwood Iowa, it’s pretty nice. They take very good care of it. It’s very clean. The rooms are pretty spacious and it was near a lot of restaurants. I would stay here again if I’m in town for a wedding."

"For the price it was not too bad. The bed was too hard for myself and husband. Bring your own pillow the ones they had were so thin. The air conditioner was loud all night rattled so much. Breakfast was good. The entrance was nice and night staff was nice."

"There was only a kiosk for check-in. We were told to sit down until they were ready. We had pre-paid, all we needed was a key card. It took 15+ minutes & it was difficult to understand. "

"The internet was VERY unstable! Could barely watch TV!! Breakfast was a joke. Don't know if we got there a little too late or what. French toast pieces looked like bricks! Had to be made with the cheapest bread possible. And when I say french toast... that's all it was!! No eggs,meat no syrup! No apple or orange juice. A gallon of sunny D 😳😂. Shower handle leaked! Hot tub had duc tape on the seams! Oh not to mention the pool was out of order, which was not mentioned on the website!"

"The facility had no hot water and limited air conditioning. The TV reception was very unreliable. It was filthy, moldy and musty and no one really seemed to care. All supplies were limited and a very limited breakfast was also poorly handled. Obviously no city or state inspector has visited during this current lease period. "Upon arriving around 4:45pm, they were still actively cleaning the rooms we were assigned(requested adjourning rooms). We waited roughly 30 minutes before we could get into our rooms. Once in the rooms, the floors weren’t swept the best and sheets smelled cleaned, but had some stains and there was a dark, coarse hair on one bed. I called and talked to the front desk and they sent the cleaning ladies up and they promptly got new sheets for the beds. The pool was okay. Breakfast the next morning...
