Splendido Bay Luxury Spa Resort

Padenghe sul Garda

10/10 Excellent

This is a lovely hotel located on the edge of the lake. Ideal stay for a few days, slightly remote so would recommend a car if staying more than 2. Staff were excellent and one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had in a while! Spa is amazing and very relaxing - well worth booking a slot to use this We had an issue or two with our room, but was instantly resolved Would recommend. Pricing is aligned to level of service and stay.

Residence Ca' del Lago

Torri del Benaco

10/10 Excellent

This is our 2nd visit to Residence Ca’ Del Lago. We had a wonderful holiday and will stay there again. The hotel is looking down on Torri Del Benaco so giving us a lovely view of the town, Lake Garda and the castle & Harbour not to forget a view of the beautiful sunset every evening. The property has friendly and helpful staff who are multi lingual so there is never a problem with a language barrier. The hotel is very clean, beds are very comfortable and there is everything you need in the room,...

Really great feeling about hotel. Staff particularly helpful and friendly. Can you book me a taxi?. Can you find me a decent restaurant? Can I have extra towels?. Everything answered quickly and politely, some five star hotels would do well to be this polite. If you are used to five star hotels, this will not disappoint. Rooms very clean, good size, pool beds really excellent, food and drinks excellent and very reasonably priced.

Boutique Hotel Villa Sostaga

Gargnano

10/10 Excellent

We were lucky to be upgraded to the new spa rooms which are excellent. spacious and well equipped. Location is beautiful with stunning views high up over lake Garda and if you want to get away from it all, its ideal. Dining options were good but some staff were new, food was good but more every day options would be good for residents Could benefit from a social area, bar or similar Be prepared for a 20 minute mountain road drive to access the hotel and visit Gargnano

Hotel Excelsior Le Terrazze

Garda

10/10 Excellent

Just returned from a lovely week at the Excelsior. The hotel is in a lovely position just outside the main town which was ideal as we were less than 5 minutes from the ferries and restaurants but more peaceful (apart from the night when a radio show was being broadcast from the nearest bar, although it wasn't unbearably loud). The staff were, without exception, excellent - polite, friendly and helpful. We had originally booked a standard room which was ok, if rather small, but fortunately...

A hotel room with a large bathtub, a bed, a window with a view of the sea and mountains, and a balcony with outdoor seating.

Hotel Porto Azzurro

Sirmione

10/10 Excellent

Very easy to find - we got the bus from Train station to Colombare. (Bottom end of Sirmione, great place to stay. Shuttle bus for 1 euro takes you to main area which is about 35 mins walk, nice walk though) The area is quiet and roads very clean with lovely flower borders all along. S Reception & other staff all very friendly and helpful. Room very clean, very simple decor but how long are you in your room? Clean bathroom very limited toiletries lovely clean soft towels. You can also hire...
