"This property lacks staff, which makes unexpected situations difficult to resolve. For example, it has a lovely rear garden for guests' use. However, access to it is through a door which is locked or unlocked as guests remember. I was locked outside, by an inattentive hotel staff member no less, who locked the door from the interior without checking to see if anyone was outside. I was trapped in the garden for 45 minutes until another guest happened to come downstairs, saw me, and unlocked...

"Staff was very friendly. The hotel itself was a great spot to come back to and enjoy a drink outside or at their bar. We did the breakfast included and were very happy with the service and food that came with that. It was more than enough for the breakfast. We thought the location was great, especially if you are looking to visit the Vieux Port. Maybe a 10 minute walk to get there. The Port Area had a many cafes and brassieres to choose from. The next street up from the hotel was a very nice...

"Beautiful view, but definitely not 4 star hotel. Very hot at night in the room, they must have turned the ac off. Disappointing, expected much better for the price and presented as a 4 star hotel, but is rather 2 stars."

"The accommodations were fair at best. No water in the room. Concrete flooring. No amenities. I guess we paid for location because the hotel was not great. Hot, noisy from the street activity and when we first got there our accommodation was not in the main hotel. In order to stay in the main hotel to avoid walking four blocks further with all our luggage, we had to upgrade to a "family" room which consisted of a double bed and a bunk bed. Not what we thought it would be."

"We were very happy with our stay here. We arrived a little early and the staff was happy to store our luggage until we could check in. The staff were all very friendly and pleasant. They said they were very full, so we had an upgraded room. We loved the balcony and enjoyed going out and relaxing on it. It was an unexpected bonus! We had the breakfast and it was very good, although if I had 1 critique, the hot items could have been warmer. But we still enjoyed it. Everything was very clean...

"While the view from the room was quite something, because the building faces west the afternoon sun boils the rooms. Mine never cooled down all night. AC was inadequate. Good breakfast and nice bar area. In a very busy and noisy part of town. But close to all activities."
