"-great prices on rooms -clean/modern room -large lobby with sitting areas and a large bar -good/safe parking garage attached to property offered for a low price. Only downside is the surrounding area isn’t the “nicest” but it feels safe walking around during the day and you’re extremely close to the Yale campus/ hospitals. They’re about a 5-10 minute walk. "Love the pool is always amazing. The hot tub could’ve been changed out more often. They did a really good job with the breakfast amazing. I’d recommend the stock more hot cocoa, and they clean only when customers are not getting food. The rooms were really wonderful."

"There was nothing really to complain. Everything was well done well kept. No issues no problems. Thank you."

"Dirty exterior, trash, cigarette butts. There was construction in the lobby. Some sex workers in the lobby in the afternoon. The rooms were swept but needed a damp mop to get up paint chips left from construction. Furniture was scratched, with sticky residue I think from price tags. Seems to have come from a surplus store. "Checked in and the sofa chair had so many stains I couldn’t even sit on it. The chair at the desk had a bit less stains but when I sat down to eat my meal for about 10min I had a total of 4 bed bug bites on the back of my legs where I was sitting on the chair. There was mold around the tub and the sink was backed up. The water never went down. I only stayed for one night for an event due to the convenience but I would not stay here again."

"When arriving to the hotel, it seemed pretty clean. Checked in and got directed to the side door for the closest entrance to the room. When entering the building it smelled of dog and you could instantly tell people were living in the hotel, however when getting to the room it was surprisingly clean."

"Every time my wife and I visit New Haven, we stay at this hotel. The staff is consistently incredibly friendly and welcoming. The rooms are always spotless. We thoroughly enjoy our stay there, and the breakfast is simply delicious."
