"Pros: The issue with the air conditioning was addressed fairly quickly, and the on-site handyman did an excellent job. The proximity to Newburyport was also a major plus. Cons: While the room appeared tidy, it wasn’t as clean as expected. I am extremely allergic to mold and mildew and just imagine a 100 year old building. While not visible, there is that “ old” smell that never leaves. "Unique and "classic" beach community vibe, not in the "luxe" category by any means but a fun place and very convenient for all the fun of Hampton Beach. The place works great for us and for most (but not all) people. In our case each year we're not looking for the Ritz but instead an easy and hassle-free way to get to the beach and enjoy Hampton's restaurants, music, and activities."
