"We really like the B&B chain and have stayed in many across Europe so we felt confident about this one in Le Havre. Overall it was clean and quiet so I was satisfied, but I did have 2 complaints:
1- We arrived around 10:30ish hoping the room might be ready early. The very friendly woman at the desk told us she could not give us the room so early, but they would happily take our bags. Fine, it's ok, rooms are not always ready on arrival so it was a long shot. We went on with our day and came...

"Very basic two star hotel on the outskirts of town.
The room was very small, but perfectly clean, with a very comfortable bed, and blissfully, air conditioned in the middle of a brutal heatwave.
The breakfast spread was also pretty basic, but surprisingly quite good.
The young ladies working the reception and breakfast area were lovely, professional, and very helpful with suggestions for restaurants for dinner.
This was a very last minute booking over a very busy weekend, and my main gripe...
