"Upon check-in, we were told there were no more room keys to give out and in order to get into hotel room, the front desk staff had to let us in the room. We stayed 2 nights, housekeeping never came to room and give new towels. The legs on vanity in bathroom were rotten and barely holding up. A roach crawled out from under the bed. The fire alarm gave off a huge sound 4 times in the middle of the night, but only our room, no actual emergency. One person in our party had a room with confirmation number but was informed when she was checking in that there were no rooms available and she did not have a place to stay. "

"I don't normally leave a bad review, but I feel this situation warranted one so that these items can be addressed or at least the public will be informed. First, the property is still branded as a Super 8. I live in town and I felt confused when I drove up, so I imagine anyone from out of town would be, as well. I did not see any Staywell branding or signs. Secondly, I don't feel the employee working the Front Desk was very helpful, nor was he courteous. I walked in and mentioned that I may be in the wrong place. I said I thought I booked at Staywell. He did not confirm that I was actually at a Staywell until I asked. Once he handed my room key to me and I left the office, I also realized he did not tell me which side of the building my room was on. My disappointment built from there. There was a recliner with ottoman right by the door. The ottoman was highly stained. The bathroom sink had poorly repaired cracks and looked dirty, perhaps because of the crack. Those are the items I found most significant. A few other items: this property has exterior doors to the rooms and is located in a somewhat sketchy area, the room's lighting did not sufficiently illuminate the room, the ice machine gave me 6 ice cubes and then gave up, there were only two pillows on the bed, and the towels provided were one of each type only, as in insufficient to parties of 2 or more."

"Staff was always busy smoking outside or otherwise unavailable. Shower floor was not clean, Upholstery on chair in room was dirty/soiled. This hotel needs some TLC. It’s not getting any. "
