George was very nice, and the room was clean and as advertised. It’s a cost-affordable option where you rent a studio instead of a hotel. He arranged transportation to and from the airport, and his wife made me some cheesecake one day that was excellent.

Cosy apartment with lovely hosts!

We had a brilliant stay at Kontaratos with George and Mariana as our lovely hosts. Our room was extremely tidy and cosy, and we had space on the terrace to read and relax in the afternoons before heading out for the evenings. The apartments are located in a quiet area just a 5 minute walk from the beach and plenty of great restaurants. We’ll hopefully be able to stay again on our next visit to Paros and would highly recommend!

The apartment is in an excellent location, conveniently in a short walking distance from various restaurants. Also, the beds are very comfortable.

We had a great stay at Kontarotos. The location is perfect just about 500m to the beach and bars. We selected the third floor room which was a great choice. The private terrace gave us many hours relaxing with drinks or breakfast. George is always around checking if any help is needed and sharing stories. He gave advice on places to visit and arranged taxis. When we return to Paros we will be booking that third floor again. Thanks Geaorge for your help. Ian and Bryony

George is very nice and was very helpful. There is only one key per room and we had a large party of 12, but he was always willing to let us in. If you are a younger group and want to go to the clubs I recommend staying in Naousa where they are. George clearly values his house and his guests. If you book here, just know that you will see him a lot.

Great place to stay and be close from the airport. The apartment is so big including a kitchen and a big balcony. The guy’s service, who attended us was impeccable. Happened to be a taxi’s strike the night before our flight and the guy came and gave us a ride early in the morning. Great apartment and service!

15 Mins walk from the ferry port or 5 mins taxi for 50 euros Easy check in and got upgraded to main floor unit with balcony, the owner is sweet and lots of stories to share. Quite street and safe neighourhood. NO complaints.

This was an amazing accommodation in a beautiful and quiet part of town. The beach is walkable and there are many food options around. George is so friendly and treats you like family. He even gave me a gift as I was leaving! I would recommend a stay here.

Lovely traditional accommodation with amazing panoramic terrace. Georgios was a wonderful host and we enjoyed speaking to him and he made us feel very welcome, helping with any queries. Situated a short walk off the main beach. Would love to return. Thank you for our wonderful stay.

This is a family owned property and you can tell. The owner, George takes great pride in his building and goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. He was there to meet me on arrival , checked to see if I needed anything when I’d meet him during the day and made it his business to be there to say goodbye when I was leaving- even gave me a fridge magnet as a souvenir of my time in Paros. I had a lower level room with a shared balcony. The room was basic, very very clean, very quiet and overall perfect place to lay your head after a day exploring the island. I couldn’t have been happier with the experience. This is an old school experience with the 5 star treatment. Do yourself a favour, go stay at this spot- you will not be disappointed!!!

Rooms were incredibly spacious and clean, and George was an excellent host! The location is a bit out of the way from the rest of Parikia, especially if you'll be getting around on foot, but fortunately the surrounding area is fairly quiet and peaceful.

We had a great stay at Kontaratos. The room was clean and has everything we needed and the owner, George, was very welcoming. There is no parking at the property, but we had no problem finding spots in the surrounding streets.

Great stay- will be back!

George was warm and welcoming from the first call! He easily provided us with walking instructions to the room from the port since we only had a couple carryons and backpacks. It’s located in a charming area along the port with several beaches and tavernas just a short step away. We stayed in the basement room since this was just a short stay prior to leaving, and admittedly I was worried when I initially booked the room. However, I would recommend it highly for anyone traveling that is looking for a budget friendly option. The room was spotless and had two beds to make a queen, the air conditioner worked lighting fast every evening when we got back to the room. The bathroom shower had great water pressure, which can be a challenge for anyone with super long thick hair. No worries here at all. We had a mini fridge and best of all, a washing machine in our unit. This was so valuable after our long weeks of traveling! There is a designated outdoor patio that you have plenty of room to enjoy outside or hang your clothes to dry. George assured us many times he was just a call away if we needed anything at all, but it was such a nice and easy stay that we didn’t have to call on him at all. Lastly- we rented a quad and there was plenty of room at night to park around d the building, which was helpful. We would definitely come back and stay longer on our next trip!

If you’re looking for a safe, nice comfortable location a with a delightful owner that goes extra to make your stay enjoyable and accommodating, this is your place. Whether it is extending your stay, help with local taxis or anything else you might need, they are there. Thank you. We’d stay here again next time based on our experience with the owners and the cleanliness of the property.
