Nothing in the area, even a convenience store! You have to take the shuttle back to the airport. Towels were very thin, and not plentiful. Food in restaurant was much better than expected.

Great option for whoever is in greater Rio and on a budget. I was really lucky to find this nice huge tower in Queimados outskirts but which has everything included. Not feasible for intended beach goers though.
