"Figured we'd stay in Mayagüez for a night and then head over to some waterfalls in the general area. I don't usually gravitate towards hotel chains, but the island is still on the mend from the storm of '17 and earthquake of '20, and Holiday Inn is doing a pretty good job of presenting well maintained and comfortable properties around the island. Bed was comfortable, room and facilities were in good shape, and it was easy access to grab a bite to eat in town. I'd stay there again."

"This was a beautiful place. The staff cooked breakfast daily and even made a special effort to serve me Mofongo and it is not on the menu. It was so quiet and at night we heard the coqui sing. It was close to major beaches, hammocks outside and just beautiful. I would definitely return. The hot water did not work in the cabin but the staff is very attentive and I am sure they will have that fixed. "It was not the typical hotel/resort experience but the location, the coziness, the service and the atmosphere was amazing. Very clean room. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Internet in the room was good. Is a calm place so if you’re looking for parties, loud music all the time then this is not the place for you. Beach only a few steps away. Beautiful scenery. "The ceiling leaked in one of the bedrooms. We reported it. We were told it was fixed and it was not. There was obvious evidence of leaking ceilings in the villa. The internet worked only in the living room. The ice machine didn't work in the fridge. The showers spray on the floor if you don't turn it to the wall (no curtains)."

"Old buildings with no modern shower, beds are terrible and you wont be able to sleep.."

"The stay was overall enjoyable, but one issue worth noting is noise. Our room was located next to an event space, and one weekend night there was a loud event with music and heavy bass that could be felt in the room until late at night. It made it difficult to relax and sleep. In my opinion, this room should not be occupied on the nights with events."
