"It was the eve of Ramadan, and we decided to explore Kayaköy and the Rock Monastery first before checking into the hotel. So we arranged to check in online via WhatsApp. We were also able to enter the hotel and our room on our own using the codes that were sent to us, which was very convenient. "The pool is only in the sun until about 11.30 and wasn’t heated. The breakfast was quite poor for a Turkish hotel. No bowls put out for yoghurt, no spoons either, had to ask everyday. No fresh fruit apart from apples. Had to wait ages to be asked if I wanted coffee or tea. Same everday, no sweet pastries ever. No toast available."
