"This is the second time we have stayed at La Puerta de Nerja Hostel Boutique. The location is ideal as it is very close to bars and restaurants. Burriana Beach is a 15 minute picturesque walk away. The staff were extremely friendly especially the staff on the rooftop terrace, where we went at the end of an evening. A big thank you to the mature gentleman, his grandson and the waitress who were very attentive.. we loved the cake!!
We would definitely recommend this hostel and will plan to return...

"Check in process was non personal through an app. Also was a serious pain. Shower would NOT drain. Took 5 days to get it fixed in order to not stand in water and black mold. Not once was the toilet paper put on a roll dispenser. No soap ever put in the shower container. Apparently training for the housekeepers is minimal? The only staff on premise was the kitchen staff. They tried to help, but wasn't their responsibility. The location is a 10. But, the hotel is a 3 maybe? It needs a huge...

"I am leaving a short review as we have actually raised a complaint.
Pool lovely, food ok. Staff very busy and appear stressed. My room was good but my friends was awful. I liked the location, breakfast was good choices etc.
I have stayed here before but i am not sure i would stay again."
