Excellent hospitality and delicious food. It was a rule (offering from the hotel) to not tip anyone, and it was a welcome change - quality service with no attached ($)expectations!

Star rating for this hotel is misleading. It’s nowhere comparable to any of the 5-star hotels like Conrad, Sheraton, or Westin. Rooms are small, towels are not that white, restaurants are unpleasant. Pros Location by the highway is good Food quality was good and the service was fast. Bed was not that great but they put foam mattress on top and made it much better Cons Overall feel of the place is kind of dingy Towels are worn and old Restaurant by the pool has weird green lighting. Feels like a cheap bar. Room doors don’t have door closers Rooms are very small and bathrooms are small too.

Very rigid hotel and team! We booked about 45 rooms nights for 5-6 rooms for over a week each. Requested for early checkin for 1 room of all rooms - but the hotel did not want to offer. Requested for upgrade of 1 room for 1 night only - the hotel did not offer. Generally hotel accomodates the possible request but this hotel completely declined for every request made. We had to pay charges for a few hours of early check in. Very very rigid hotel.

We had booked about 40-45 room nights combined for about 4-5 rooms and has 2 special requested to be accommodated. First request was accommodating an early check in for 1 room and upgrade of 1 room for 1 night. Both were declined by the hotel; they hotel asked to pay for whole night for confirmed early check in at 8:00 AM.

Fantastic overall experience.
Sayaji is one of the best places to stay in Pune - just off the expressway so easy to get on the road back to Mumbai, priced well, good spacious rooms, with good food and great staff service! Pls keep it up.

Wow effect missing for the first time
Every time I had stayed at Sayaji it had a wow effect. Not surprisingly it was not the same this time. Had some issues with the Aircon and TV. Found a used coldrink bottle on the refrigerator. Overall cleanliness was well maintained. May be it was under staffed so room service was a bit slow. Breakfast was upto the mark. Overall they are keeping up quite a good fight to the given situation. The team is

The floor manager in charge of floor 8 during my stay in February 2020 was superb: he really went above and beyond to ensure good service. In general, the hotel staff all worked hard to deal with requests. The facilities and rooms were very good and very clean.

Can't go wrong in Pune with Sayaji!
I have to admit, I was quite surprised by Sayaji. Traveling a lot, I really don't have too many expectations for hotels, but Sayaji turned out to be very nice and very well run. The standard of service was exceptionally high (almost to the point of cloying a time or two) and the facilities were well kept, rooms nicely appointed, and good selection of available food. Breakfast selection was excellent, each of the three dining experiences was similar, but with something to differentiate it, and even the gym was pretty nicely appointed. Very professional staff and well run hotel.

Hotel was ok. Cleanliness can definitely be improved - for example the couch in my room had stains. Mattress was low and super firm so requested an additional softer mattress which they quickly addressed. If they can fix these issues then the hotel would be good.

The WiFi quality and speed is very bad. After evening, wasn’t even able to make outgoing calls from cell phone. Next day, due to WiFi unavailability, couldn’t call Uber service. The staff was not very responsive initially. Had to wait for them to either call an Uber or give me a ride to station Another customer brought to my attention that Sayaji is charging 9 percent gst even when the total bill is less than 6000. I am actually a foreigner who visits once a year. Have stayed in Sayaji even in feb this year. Previous experience was very good. But I am not aware or familiar with this tax structure in India. Charging a customer incorrect tax doesn’t give good impression. Hope there will be improvement. Thanks

Good hotel begining to take it easy
I had a pleasant short business trip stay. The Hotel has been very efficient in the past but I felt this time they are getting complascent. In my past stays, I was offered complimentary Press service for 2 garments and also goodwill gesture cut fruit. Nothing this time. The IPAD console which manages the LCD TV ( instead of good old handheld remote control) has become extremely slow to respond. It takes many seconds to change channels and you end up giving up. However, few things remain delightful about this Hotel. Personalised Reception on every floor, smiling staff, Waiters/ Service chaps not expecting or accepting tips.

A good hotel with courteous staff. It's well located on the highway and has a good view. The hotel has barbeque nation in its top floor. Food is good. Quality of towels could improve. The size and quality of gown is not up to the mark. With some minor improvements the hotel could be one of the best locations in Pune.
