"Courteous Staff"

"This is a great spot if you don't need to be right in downtown Prescott. We're local but went here for a little "staycation" because my granddaughter dreamed of a winter swim. I called ahead to make sure the indoor pool was open, then booked. When we arrived the next day, Zac at the front desk - who I'd talked to on the phone - checked us in. He was friendly, very courteous, and efficient. The room was great. Spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed and Disney on the TV. The fridge was clean and cold. The indoor pool area is great. There's a little kiddie pool, a normal pool, and a hot tub. The decor is very kid-oriented with faux palm trees and jungle animals. A giant elephant sprays water from his snout in the middle of the pool. This is awesome and a contrast to the much more sterile/boring indoor pools elsewhere in Prescott. The granddaughter had a blast swimming. There are several restaurants nearby. We just grabbed burgers and hot dogs at Five Guys, but there's also a Texas Roadhouse and a great local called Augie's very close by. The free hot breakfast was excellent. Bacon, omelets, biscuits and gravy (though the gravy was a bit thin), waffles, etc. There were even churro waffles. Anyway, we had a great staycation. At the end, my 5 y/o granddaughter looked at the pool and said, "Best weekend ever." Totally worth the very affordable stay!"
