"Room and the rest of the property were excellent. Food very good. It’s a difficult place to find one’s way around at first. No porters and a long way from car park to reception. Staff mostly very pleasant."

"Lovely grounds and building. The staff, especially Shabila, were welcoming. Shabila is relentless in ensuring that everything is satisfactory. We stayed on a Sunday and so it wasn’t busy and there was a relaxed atmosphere. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. We had a good price for the room, so it was excellent value for money. The only suggestion would be to look at the heating in the Pear Tree rooms. It was very hot. "

"We were disappointed that the pictures advertising the Walton Hall Hotel & Spa were quite deceptive. The actual hotel is not at all connected to the historic Walton Hall, and the hotel wing and room that we experienced were very worn and in need of a renovation. The pool and fitness room were listed on Expedia as amenities, but these facilities are not owned by the hotel and require payment for use (after registering our complaint, we were given free passes). "Great location with plenty of parking and comfy rooms. Bar area is very relaxing. However breakfast is a bit chaotic. For the second visit in a row, the coffee machines are not working properly so there's a long queue and frustration. Two domestic toasters but the bread was far too large to fit and resulted in many pieces of burnt toast."
