"Despite booking 5 months in advance of the trip the owner did not communicate any information regarding the booking. The "reception" is unmanned despite the advert saying it is manned between 5pm and 11pm. I tried to contact the owner on the number provided and got sent to an answer phone. Great. The messaging service on Hotels.com also yielded no results. The very helpful bar staff over the road phoned the owner for me, where I found out they had forgotten my reservation. "Parking is right outside the property which is located a short walk into the town centre where there are a number of restaurants. The property, our room and the host were all excellent. Fabienne booked a restaurant for us which she also recommended - food and service were great at a reasonable price. Our room, including an amazing en-suite, was delightful and our breakfast - well worth the 15 euro charge - was fantastic. Can not recommend highly enough."
