"The room 100 is very loud with it being next to the stairs. There was also not hot water so we showered mostly luke warm water which felt cold during the time we were there. The air conditioner and everything was loud. The air vent was loud in the bathroom. Beds were nice on the other hand and the room was pretty clean."

"Location in Pasadena was great. Parking is a struggle. If you go out to dinner, you are unlikely to find a spot easily. Biggest dissatisfaction was the quality of the breakfast. Egg and sausage biscuits were horrible. Scrambled eggs were not real eggs. Second was the noise factor. Was on 2nd floor and you could hear guests above all night - almost no noise insulation between floors."

"Good breakfast, nice staff, free & safe parking, clean room & restroom. Needs to provide bigger size towels and replace shower head to be able to alter different type of water output (no just one that cannot be altered). They supply soap (no bodywash)."

"Had a pool view room set up for the stay, we were put on the third floor where it was the pool that had a view to our room. We asked for a room clean for one of the days but they were unable to due to being short staffed. The housekeeper in the hallway was very nice and helped me get new towels though. They wont automatically clean your room, you will have to call the front desk to schedule a clean. The walls are very thin, sleep was not the best since the next door neighbors liked to shower at 3am, also our room was infront of the elevators which was high traffic and high noise. The property is really nice and clean and new."

"It appears that this property is struggling with very visible challenges - primarily in both services and personnel. Our stay was a single overnight, midweek, and we had pre-paid for a king room. When we arrived, we (and about 4 other guests parties) found that not only was there no one at the front desk to check us in, but also no one on the first floor - at all - to help us. It became so absurd that I picked up the phone behind the front desk, and when I reached a hotel operator and told her that we were all awaiting check-in and no one was there, she hung up. Once checked in, we went to our room and found it was a double queen room. I went back to the front desk, and now waited in line again, and reported that we had erroneously been given a double queen. Their response? I'm sorry but the hotel is sold out! I brought to their attention that I had in fact PREPAID for a king room and it was in fact our Anniversary Weekend. The fun was just beginning... They found us an "accessible" king room (which was fine, but hopefully the "fully booked" hotel didn't have guests with disabilities who truly needed the ammenities), but could find anyone to help us with our bags. So, we found an unattended cart in the carport and schlepped our bags ourselves. The same treatment the next day: no one answered our call for bell service -- or a call for the valet overnight parking. And single-ply TP in the bathroom? Don't get me started. Overall, a very unsatisfactory experience."

"We have stayed at this Marriott many times. The area of Pasadena was once flourishing , but now sadly it has started to look run down. Many restaurants and stores have left this area. It’s too bad."

"Clean and quiet room. A/C was quiet and kept room at desired temperature. Common areas very nice and new. Underground parking was convenient. Staff was very helpful, especially Luis who helped with special requests when booking. The hotel is adjacent Paseo Colorado with nice restaurants, shops, and theaters. Would definitely stay here again."

"Balcony views, gave champagne and upgrade for my anniversary. We celebrated 16 years ago here for my wedding reception. Place looks even more modern"
