"The photos are very deceiving. This hotel sits at the corner of a major intersection so if you are looking at the photos of the lake just know that you are going to be listening to traffic, big rigs and an occasional siren as you try to read your book.
The rooms have laminate tiles and the way you know a room has been recently cleaned is that when you walk by it the carpet under your feet is wet.
The bed and TV were the only genuinely good things in this experience.
This hotel is very smoker friendly. Each room has a table with two chairs and one ash tray sitting outside of it. Even when no one is smoking, it smells like there is.
As an added bonus, I booked this through hotels.com and so there was no refund after I had to leave. Had I booked directly through the hotel, I would have at least received a refund for this bad experience.
In the end, at night I felt like I was in the movie directed by the Coen brothers waiting for an expressionless man with wavy dark hair and a compressed air tank to knock on my door."
