"This weekend, my wife, my son, and I visited Three Valley Lake Chateau. It was their first visit and my first time back in over 30 years. As a child, I attended Bell family reunions here in the late 1980s and early 1990s, so returning was both nostalgic and meaningful. "Older motel that has been completely updated. Great vibe, everything was very super clean, toiletries in the rooms were top notch, bedding was great. The only negative is that the restaurant/pub hours don't match what is advertised. I am not sure if it was a staffing issue as our visit is between peak travel seasons but it was rather disappointing that we couldn't have a beverage and a bite to eat at 8:00 pm after a long drive. Would still recommend the property but a word to the wise...

"The hotel is right across the road from the train tracks, the trains are noisy and shake the room and they run all night. It’s ok with ear plugs but just something to be aware of (I wasn’t). The rooms are modern but lots of scuffs on the walls and ceilings, but pretty clean. The bed was comfortable"
