"Room was as clean as this very old motel can be. Had a muggy smell so had to air it out a bit. Mattress was comfortable but the sheets were very itchy But the towels were new and plush so that was a bonus."

I did not receive the email from the property advising me of all the details until after I arrived to check in, because I was away from wifi and cell signal. "Alpine Meadows is a unique rustic lodge in a beautiful mountain setting. The drive up to the lodge 4K up a private mountain gravel road. Upon entering the lodge you are asked to remove your outdoor shoes to preserve the original wood floors. A variety of slippers are provided.
