"The room was simple but spacious and had everything we needed. The complementary to-go breakfast offered way more foods than expected which was great! The close location to the Sand Dunes made visiting the park easy!"

"Vernon and April were helpful and the room was nice. Rocking chair in room was really comfy. Hot water from fixtures was immediate. Temp outside was in the 20's inside the room was toasty. "

"Honestly, it’s not often I love a stay so much that I feel like it was worth more than we paid. Maybe I’m hard to please. But this place stood out above almost all the places I’ve stayed. Great vibe, great campers worth more than a standard hotel suite, we were cozy and stoked the whole time we were there! And being able to stay with our dog made it all the better. Thank you SO MUCH. We’ll be staying here anytime we’re in the area again. "

"The room was nice and cozy! The people are what made this stay so nice. Mike and his lovely wife created such an enjoyable, friendly atmosphere for everybody! Really enjoyed our stay in Cuchara! Haven’t been to such a friendly town in a long time, can’t wait to go again!"

"We stayed for a short time and the experience was nothing but amazing the property is beautiful and the animal around the area is abundant. Didnt really have to much experience with the staff but rhe owner definitely help us with locating are room. Wil definitely come back and stay longer to get the full experience. Thank you for the stay."
