"Check in took quite a while as though there were multiple people behind the counter, only one person was helping people.
The room was perfect-clean and well set up. The fridge in the room worked well.
Parking was a bit tough-but can be managed. If you don’t want to carry your stuff for a distance, opt for valet.
The check out process was bumpy. I woke up the desk person and she wouldn’t provide a receipt, telling me she would email it.
Well-she did not.
And I got the message that I had not checked out on time. Had to make multiple calls to get things straightened out.
Finally got a gentleman that helped me.
Would stay there again-"
"Beautiful resort- wonderful snorkeling at Black Rock, great outdoor facilities, nice breakfast. Room was a bit older, but it was fine. The rest of the resort made up for it."
"Least accommodating stay of our trip. AC in room never increased to temperature, staff notified and seemed to be blown off. Expect to be nickel and dimed for resort fees and parking but get little value in return. A good hotel at best but by no means a resort warranting fees. You will find better value at the Whaler Resort."
"Clean room but very small and cramped for 4 people (adults,2 teens). There was no space for our luggage to sit out in the room to access it so we were constantly walking over luggage on the floor. Not enough drawer space for 4 people to unpack in order to put luggage in the closet as the room was quite small.
Tiny fridge, only good for a few small items and was not very cold.
A/C worked very well. Lanai/balcony was nice to have and it was spacious with two chairs and a table, gave us room to spread out.
Adult only hot tub is nice but they should allow kids 12 and up accompanied by an adult. So many teens wanted to hang with their parents at the hot tub on the cooler days but weren’t allowed.

"This was an incredible property! The room was amazing and beautiful, the food was delicious, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was our favorite of all the hotels we saw in the area and we wandered around several. We will definitely stay here every time we're in the area."
"We had a great experience at Kahana Beach Resort. We stayed 9 nights. From our north side balcony, we had great ocean and mountain views. Place was clean, well maintained, and kitchen was well supplied. We saw turtles swim by and there was a good variety of fish snorkeling off its beach. This was our second time staying here. We would stay here again."
