There is no air conditioning but some ceiling fans that do the job perfectly (we were never too hot at night) - the pool with the river view in room 10 was spectacular. "Huge room with a separate room for luggage! The breakfast was excellent! There is a small kids play area with swings. Location was set back from the street and quiet! We did notice some beetles in our bathroom, but they were harmless and not a big concern. Friendly staff,"

"The location of this resort is stunning, just beautiful. The service is superb. The food is amazing. And the cottage itself was tastefully recreated. We enjoyed walking the tea trails - just expect to make an effort on the plantation hills. We also relaxed and enjoyed the hotel every afternoon. They will do anything to make your stay as perfect as possible. It was an ideal stay for us. "

"This was a fantastic place to unwind. A vast array of activities in the surrounding nature or a SriLankan cooking lesson which we found was amazingly interesting and tasty!!! A truly luxurious boutique hotel with wonderful staff. The roads in are interesting and we were glad of the SUV we had hired. Over 4 hour drive from Colombo which was indeed stunning. We loved this place."
