"The resort is beautiful and located in top of a small mountain overlooking the city of Sparti and olive groves. It’s an easy drive to town and most local attractions. It is a locally owned hotel and the staff are friendly, professional and very helpful. Demetrios and Gianna and the entire staff were extremely helpful in organizing a large family dinner for 25 and everyone was impressed with the food, the location and staff. We highly recommend the hotel!"

"Good location in central Sparta, just across the town's main intersection from both the archaeological museum and the main plateia with its restaurants. My room came with a balcony that gave a fine view over the city centre. My single room and its bathroom were both on the small side, but perfectly adequate for just me. "Outstanding property and stay - perhaps service can be improved a bit more. There was a bit of miscommunication re towel replacement and water refill. Lastly, I would encourage the hotel to review its policies regarding smoking (particularly cigars) in outdoor dining areas, as well as the display of sexually suggestive content around the pool, especially considering the presence of young children."
