"We had a short stopover at Blue Mountain. The view was fantastic! The hotel invested in good quality fixtures: the rooms are spacious, the pool and garden terrace very nice and the bathroom with a view worth it. It’s overall comfortable and clean. Food served was also good and staff was attentive to our needs. I would rank Blue Moutain higher than most accommodations in Sri Lanka, and it would need just a bit more efficiency and attention to details to qualify for high-end. "

"We had the most wonderful stay at the Coffee Bungalow. The building, which has been beautifully restored and appointed, sits in arguably the best location above Kandy and the warm and elegant hospitality was memorable. We cannot recommend more highly! "Hotel was comfortable, safe, and they had onsite driver accommodations (apparently a thing in Sri Lanka). We didn't get to stay here long enough, and there was a festival that made the streets incredibly crowded. "When we arrived the hotel was closed. We were given no notice. We were concerned as we had already paid for the hotel. A security guard directed us their sister hotel who honoured our booking which was great but not the experience we expected. I would say the pictures must have also been misleading given it was closed for renovation. The sister hotel was in a great location but very old and rooms not great. Would have preferred to be told and have booked elsewhere. "
