The balcony overlooked the pool are and the beach & ocean. Beautiful views. The plumbing fixtures were clean, but old & outdated. The vent over the microwave was missing and the floors and baseboards were badly stained with a black substance. Just looked really dirty.

Room was in kind of rough shape. Needs lots of improvement (floors, countertops, hole in the wall, microwave trim, key code “lock”). Had to use tv from bunk bed room because it was the only one with Smart capabilities. Great location though.

Our one bedroom 6th floor beachfront condo had fantastic views. King bedroom, full kitchen, separate alcove with two bunk beds, two bathrooms with two full showers, living room, and huge balcony. The furniture, countertops, and decorations in our unit were a bit dated but everything was very clean. I'm more than happy to trade a very good room rate for a few dents and dings. Well maintained high-rise condo building with two outdoor pools, two outdoor hot tubs, and an indoor pool. Nothing to complain about, we definitely would stay here again.

The view was amazing! And we loved the balcony! The unit had plenty of room for us! The kids loved the bunk beds! The ice machine didn't work and that was a bummer. We would stay again but would love if the ice machine would be fixed.

No pride of ownership!

The cleanliness of the unit was on par for what you would expect from a $50 per night motel, yet this rental company was charging hundreds of dollars per night. The vibe when you walk in? Cheap. Run down. They are pulling in tons of money and yet we had to drape bedsheets over the couch to sit down because it was covered in disgusting stains. The furniture, especially on the balcony was uncomfortable, broken or both. With the amount of money that they are making from these rentals, they should have the decency to provide clean and non-broken furniture. It just smelled of a money grab with no respect for the renter. You will require a car due to the location at the edge of town, parking for four nights was $50. Thank goodness the beach is beautiful, it’s what saved the trip. Rent somewhere else.

The was absolutely amazing except the pools were not cleaned throughout the day, our washer didn't work, and one of the jets in our jacuzzi wasn't working either. This was my first time at the Lighthouse, and we plan to keep coming back!

Lighthouse was fun! It was our family first stay for a week on the beach. Condo was a good size and our family was comfortable (important). We came down for softball tournament. We felt safe and relaxed at all times. I would go back without hesitation!!!

Sometimes pictures make a place look bigger and better. This was not the case for Lighthouse 504. It was huge. Tons of room for two adults and four teens. We didn’t have to buy anything for the beach. They had it waiting for us. (Umbrellas. Chairs, floats, boards, you name it. So incredibly beautiful and the view was incredible.

NCAA D2 Volleyball Parent Stay

Great property and location. Our girls played in the NCAA D2 Sand Volleyball tournament, this location was perfect. Walking distance. Quiet, easy to get in and out, close to everything.

Would not rent from Vacasa again!

The hot tub was cold, we did not get any communication before arriving. When we finally got the code and room number, the code didn’t work. We were told we would be given two parking passes, but we ended up having to pay for them. The extra blankets were covered in sand, the ice maker in the fridge was broken. The room door would not stay shut unless we slammed it, and there was damaged to many parts of the condo. We also saw roaches.

The trip to Gulf Shores was fabulous. The amenities at Lighthouse were very nice. Wonderful view and a nice big patio on the 16th floor. However, if you book with them you will be booking through Vacasa and you need insurance. Hurricane Helene almost kept us from going and there was not going to be any kind of change, refund or even a credit for a later date allowed. We would've lost every dime. We went because eventually Helene moved eastward a bit and Pensacola didn't get hit so flight wasn't canceled. We lucked out. Outside of building is beautiful. Things were clean. The condo itself was quited outdated with furnishings. Living room furniture was very worn down and not very comfortable. Beds were fine. This vacation would be 5 stars if condo was updated and they were more flexible for bad weather.
