"I think that this would be a great hotel for a weekend getaway if you happen to live somewhere in the UK or even Europe. I was quite jetlagged upon arrival (9am) after 24 hours in transit over several time zones. I had asked in advance if I could check in early. I did not receive a response. Check in was officially 3pm. Upon arrival, they suggested that for 20 pounds I could check in at 2pm instead of 3pm. I was able to leave my luggage but was absolutely exhausted and had to wander around...

"The room was very clean and had all the essentials. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Amenities within the hotel were fab, including a gym and bar/ restaurant. Location was excellent, very central but also not too busy. Would definitely recommend staying here!"

"Staff were really nice and the hotel overall very clean and modern. The main issue was that it was above a night club so extremely loud. I had my own earplugs and was knackered due to travel so was able to sleep. The room was also very hot and dark. Communal shower was clean and had good water pressure. Toilets were fine too. If you are young (or young at heart) and want a place to crash after a night out (they even provide free condoms), this is your place. If you want to rest, have kids etc. definitely avoid. And bring you own noise cancelling headphones with you."

"The room was very nice, beautifully and stylishly renovated while in a historic building with a lot of charm. We loved the fact that there was a complimentary, complete well-stocked bar in the room along with snacks. Great location - literally across the street from the train station but rooms were sound proofed and super quiet"

"This hotel was not flexible with accommodating early check in. Our room was unavailable for early check in because it was a limited space. We emailed the facility before travelling to check if early check in was available to which we were told to ask on property. When on property, we were told our room was limited and we could not switch because it was fully booked. We wish this was told over email - as we were willing to pay for early check in. Other guests were given the option for early check in but they were forced to pay, even if only 1 hour early. You have to ask for your room to be cleaned. We asked for it to be cleaned but it was only cleaned for one of our nights. One positive thing I would like to highlight is a staff member who made our stay better. Sonia was a life saver - When I explained that room service forgot to clean our room 2 days in a row, she quickly said she would rectify the problem and made sure we had water and coffee refilled."
