"Gnats in the room from the moment we opened the door. Bed was like concrete, slept on the couch. Ice makers were not functioning and had to buy ice. Had to pay for parking when there was no other option to park anywhere else. Every time I asked for something it was as if I was trying to steal something. Bartender tried to charge me $8 for a 12 ounce beer. When I said I didn't want one he said $6.50. I said that's better but I still didn't want one. Seems like this place is more interested in...

"Run down. Toilet didn’t work very well shower out of soap. Reported first night had to go get soap and toilet never fixed. Pool was dirty."

"We planned on staying in one night and there was a chance of a storm. There was lightning about 100 miles away. They closed the pool area 2 hours earlier than normal. It seemed like it was just because they had a chance to mark a task off of the list for the night. Not that big of a deal, but it did put a lid on our plans."

"The staffs, breakfast were excellent. The lobby and extra equipment was clean. Our room had bugs, big roaches. We had to sit all our suitcases and bookbag on higher grounds.I tried to call the manager and supervisor three time on this matter but the supervisor wouldn't call me back or anything. My family and I wouldn't be staying at this place anymore.. I have pictures of the bug in our bed."

"We only stayed one night but the lodge is wonderful we will definitely stay again when going back to gulf shores. Also, pay the extra $6 a day and use valet parking, it’s $15 for self park or $22 for valet and we wished we had chosen valet. We know for next time."

"The room had trash on the floor, used hand towels shoved near the toilet paper, mold inside the wall decor frame, moldy lamp shade on desk and wires visibly tangled in the bottom corner of the AC unit. All issues could be prevented easily with properly performing the daily duties."

The only complaint we have is there was people that were also staying at the hotel seemed to have invited ALOT of people who were not hotel guests and basically overtook the outside patio with their visitors.
