I had a wonderful stay at this lovely small boutique hotel. The location is perfect — just a few minutes’ walk from the beach and only minutes away from excellent restaurants, shops and a grocery store. Despite being so conveniently located, the hotel offers a wonderful sense of privacy and tranquillity. The staff are incredibly helpful, friendly and welcoming, which made my stay even more enjoyable. On the day of my arrival, I found a lovely welcome card waiting for me in the kitchen, together...

This is a lovely refurbished chateau in a tranquil suburb of Nantes with a nearby river at the end of its garden. There is ample parking on site. We stayed overnight and ate dinner which was on the expensive side but the quality and presentation were of a very high standard. We look forward to staying there again.

I had high expectations and they were met and exceeded. The staff are polite, courteous and professional without being robotic, and that makes a difference. The room was larger than expecting, well furnished. The bathroom was good and the buttons for the shower avoided the usual fear of having to take a degree in plumbing that you usually find with hotel bathrooms. A lovely hotel. Despite the low number of guests the hotel still had a great atmosphere. The two-bedroom ‘suite’ was really just two rooms with a shared outer door but very comfortable, great layout and nicely designed, beds amazingly comfortable. Breakfast buffet was excellent, beautiful bar in the lobby atrium. The staff were clearly very well trained on the ethos of the hotel and were superbly efficient but also very friendly. Hugely recommended if you’re visiting La Baule.

You need to have a car to drive into Arcachon and the surrounding bay as there's nothing in walking distance. But if you have a car - this is perfect. Clean. Good breakfast. Quiet. Free parking. Excellent.

Loved our stay - staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The hotel is in a great location very close to the lighthouse. The room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast delicious, and the pool was good fun. Thank you to all the staff!

This is our second time staying here, can't be happier. Our 2nd time is just as good as the first time if it's not better. The room is perfectly decorated, small but charming. Very modern and clean hotel with excellent helpful staff. Bedrooms are quiet with comfortable beds. Ensuite bathroom is large with walk-in shower. Hairdryer in the bathroom. Kettle, mugs and tea & coffee available in rooms together with a water bottle refillable for free, from the water cooler located in reception. Gorgeous hotel on the waterfront - the most impressive in Saint Jean de Luz, with a nice (simple) spa. The staff are the highlight - effortlessly efficient & totally capable - from the (handsome) door men to the amazing receptionist, capable maids & talented masseuse. To stay at this hotel is to experience gracious living and elegance at its very best. Excellent modern hotel in next to the beautiful seaside town of Pornic. Hotel has free secure parking, Excellent reception services and a nice, but small, indoor pool. Clean.smart rooms with WC seperate to the bath and basin. Location is just outside the town surrounded by flats and a casino but just a 7-10 minute walk along a pretty canal to the small port/ waterfront.

A return visit to Biarritz to take in some sea air! The hotel was situated right above the beach, but also two minutes from the main shopping street. We had paid extra for a balcony, but unfortunately it was rather too windy during our visit for us to take much advantage of it! Enjoyed a meal in the hotel's restaurant on our second night and a nightcap in the hotel bar.

The hotel in lovely and obviously caters for the ‘Up Market’ clientele that they get given the proximity to the fashionable town of Biarritz, however Breakfast was not included and cost 26€ each!!!!! Far too much for a continental breakfast with additional hot items extra! Also be aware you are right next to an airport and will get occasional jet noise (not that busy though.

I would give this six stars if I could. It was excellent in all areas. The staff were wonderful and treated us as individuals and welcome guests. The restaurant was marvellous as was the spa. The room was spacious and comfortable. An exceptional experience.
