"We often visit but this was our first stay. Was disappointing that accommodation was on a difficult piece of land away from the restaurant and cultural heritage museum. Was too much effort early mornings to trek kms away for our paid breakfast so we didn't have any. Couldn't shower as all showers are outside (too cold to venture outside) and bath water didn't heat up. Furniture needs tlc. Headboard in main room was not clean. No microwave To heat a quick meal. No guestbook re: restaurant times,...

"Was not quite what I expected. Located literally in a mountain pass with traffic driving past. The room doesnt have a fridge. It has a cooler but what good is that if you want to pack some items of your own to stay properly cold. You are given a kitchen sink in your room. A microwave would also be a good option. For what you pay to stay, it is not worth it. The restaurant has a limited menu. The location is remote and far from any shops. There is a Spar in Citrusdal, a 10 minute drive away....

"Lovely studio apartment right on the beach with fantastic views. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Lovely friendly staff who were very helpful. The only slight disappointment was that the pool didn’t appear to be cleaned during our 4 night stay. There was an automatic cleaner but due to the proximity to the sand the pool really could have done with a good manual clean. "

"Gareth & Grant have a beautiful home & it was a pleasure to stay with them. Everything was top quality...our room, the pool, the outside space. Each day they deliver a fabulous 3 course breakfast, then afternoon tea & cake, & at 6pm canapés & drinks for all, which turns into a lovely social event, throughout with home baked & delicious treats.
