"It’s definitely the nicest place to stay in Hilo. Great location & beautiful property. Breakfast was good with options. Staff is fabulous. This is absolutely just chance, nothing the hotel could do. A soccer team showed up our last night. The kid’s & parents were loud, obnoxious & trashed the place, I felt sorry for the entire staff & groundskeeper cleaning up after the rude group."

The staff is nice enough, but the property being open to the public, no hotel grade doors on the rooms (they were closet doors with no deadbolt), and no AC on a hot night is not acceptable. "Very convenient, easy contactless access. We didn’t arrive until 8:30 pm and the room was ready for us with the lights on and the temperature perfect. The bed was so comfortable and I appreciated it so much after a long day of travel."

"Not Worth it, Price Like 4-5 hotel. It Like motel. .Very noisy during the day and night, people are passing your corridor to go to lobby and dragged their luggages . NO elevator, I need to carry All luggages to level 1 downstairs. Staffs helpful and friendly. I booke d for 4 adults. bed like queen but a bit small. Shouldn’t be for for 4 adults. No kettle and you need to pick up all glass, tea and coffee in receptions., bring your own water bottle as well. "

"This was amazing! Great staff, great location AND there's even a swimming hole (5 min walk, if that) with a waterfall! I've never stayed in a shared house before, but this one has spoiled me! It's close enough to be able to drive to all the good tourist spots. Oh, and hopefully you're there for the "big" farmers market on Saturdays. "This is a beautiful, quiet property just above Hilo town. The view of Hilo from the property is AMAZING! Great value for the room we had for 5 days. The property is very relaxing and the sounds of the coqui frogs at night add to the feeling of relaxation and induction of sleep. I would highly recommend to anyone planning a trip to Hilo."
