Perry's Ocean Edge Resort

"I booked an ocean front room and received that! The view was magnificent. The front desk staff was always helpful no matter what the need. Michelle when we checked in was especially nice. The motel is a little dated, but that was fine. The bathrooms don't have a ventilator in them, but the lighting and mirror in the bathroom were great! Towels were always available when we needed them. One of the pools were down, which seems like that may be a regular thing and maybe you should let people know that as well. Also when I booked I thought there was a restaurant on the premises. Although the donuts were delicious I think an improvement would be having a continental type breakfast as well. Milk needs to be available with the donuts and a personal preference of cranberry juice along with the orange and apple juice would be a good improvement. For future visitors to the area the IHOP across the street is not fantastic. Its just ok. If someone had told me that before my visit I would have saved my money. Visit Daytona Diner down the street for better food and great atmosphere. All in all I'd rate my trip and stay an 8 out of 10! Thanks for the memories Daytona!"

"Couldn’t get to beach have steps but not finished disappointing to spend that kind of money and have to walk down the road to have access to go to the beach and no parking in the back of hotel have to walk across the dangerous road with luggage it was very disappointing for the money now a days .won’t make the mistake to go there again."

"Old family fun hotel. Large resort level of variety of amenities - mini sized. Wonderful workers (seen them this way for decades). One of the places in the wide world where I have gone, that is most memorable. Thing are old, it's kind of funny, that there are different signs and posts still around about the same one thing, with different info, from different times of their history. Hopefully they keep it this way, so their prices stay lower. For single adults, who aren't looking for a family place, there is an open to the public hotel pool tiki bar, just a few buildings down. And a very laid back, but updated, friendly girls, strip club just before. Pizza place just before that. And gas station snacks and beach souvenirs shops and I think a smoke shop, all walking distance. And all else you need to live is a close drive also. *One of most memorable places, I have been in the many places I lived and many more traveled to. So glad I returned finally, after 20 years. Both times alone. So with family or a couple, guess that could be exponentialized."

"The property is okay. Needs to be maintained more. I think the carpet in the room needs a goods cleaning, it gives off a smell."
