Petaluma Relais & Chateaux Hotels: Petaluma Hotel Guide

The Inn at the Tides

10/10 Excellent

"Great place to stay. Very helpful and friendly staff."

Elm House Inn

10/10 Excellent

"Very nice, clean room with king bed, night stands with drawers, lamps, and multiple AC plug-ins. WiFi/Internet access was included at no extra charge. HVAC unit in room, if needed (we didn't need it). Room also had a large chest-of-drawers (i.e., lots of room for clothes, if you want to unpack) and a flat screen TV. Closet was larger than a lot of nice hotels where I've stayed. Room also has two vanity/sinks: one outside the in-suite bath with a mini-fridge under the sink, and another vanity/sink in the bathroom, which also has the toilet and tub/shower combo. The free breakfast was delicious with coffee, juice, and both hot and cold foods. The staff was very friendly, professional, and accommodating. It is easy driving distance from many great Napa Valley wineries. I highly recommend the Elm House Inn!"

Hotel Petaluma, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

8/10 Good

"My partner and I recently stayed at your hotel while celebrating our 24th anniversary. Overall, we enjoyed our visit. The property was very nice, and we especially enjoyed the wine tasting experience in Napa. We requested an early check-in and were charged $25, which we felt was reasonable. Unfortunately, later that evening we discovered that the thermostat in our room was not working properly. When we called the front desk, 1/2 hr went by and we were immediately given a goodie bag and keys to a different room. While we appreciated the effort to resolve the issue, we would have preferred some communication before being moved. No one asked whether we wanted to change rooms or discussed any other options. Since we were already settled in for the night, we had to get dressed again, repack our belongings, and move rooms. I don't normally complain, but because this was our 24th anniversary, I was hoping everything would go as smoothly as possible. Better communication from the staff would have made a significant difference in our experience. Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback."

The Lodge at Tiburon

10/10 Excellent

"Was the perfect location and a very nice hotel"

The Meritage Resort and Spa

10/10 Excellent

"I love this property and the staff were excellent. We were able to see them put together a beautiful wedding for one of the staff members. They really do take care of their staff and customers."

Sheraton Sonoma Wine Country Petaluma

10/10 Excellent

"We only stayed here one night but were pleased with the hotel. Check in was super quick and easy. Booked a room with a bay view but to be honest it wasn't that big of a view. At least our view was not as expected. Didn't use the pool or workout room so we can't really speak about these. To be honest we really just slept here after a long day of traveling. Had a great night's sleep on a comfortable bed. Yes, would stay here again."

Quality Inn Petaluma - Sonoma

8/10 Good

"Nice room We were given a map to find the building our room was in, Suggest to number the buildings so it’s easier to locate the correct building"

Best Western Petaluma Inn

8/10 Good

"The young man at the desk was helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. Probably my only complaint would be the parking. It was a little tight."

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Berkeley Marina

8/10 Good

"Nice location and very pretty marina. Rooms were decent and well maintained, but the elevators are very shaky and a bit scary. Besides that the hotel was fine."
