"For a motel in the lower price range this was very good. The landlady Kate was extremely helpful despite there having been a power cut in the town for two days running, and causing quite a headache for her. We will be staying in Douglas again so we've booked the same place."

"The rooms are clean and spacious. Staff was very friendly. There is no elevator so if you are on the second floor you have to carry up your things. The hallways are dated and run down and there is a slight smell of smoke and something else that I couldn’t quite decide. Breakfast was very basic and the bed was very firm."

"We loved it! Very clean and well maintained. The pool was great. The breakfast even better. We loved the variety, including gluten free, almond milk options and so many choices. The beds were great and the evening herbal tea and hot chocolate in the lobby was a hit!"

"This hotel was probably gorgeous when it was new. It’s obviously older now. The furniture and fixtures definitely showed some wear. All the important stuff was great though. The a/c worked awesome, the room was pest free, the appliances worked, and we got a good night’s sleep."

"Clean room, set up was different with the 2 beds, bathroom and then a kitchen. Was not expecting that! One tv worked, the other didn't. Parking was great, right insfrint of room. Would stay again. Easy on/off major highway."
