"I loved my stay at the Arthur Phillip Motor Inn! It's clean and only about a 15 minute walk to Cowes. The bus stop is a 3 minute walk away. I had no car but I had no issues going to where I wanted to go as long as I worked around the bus schedules. I was able to see the Penguin Parade, the Seal cruise, Smiths Beach, and the Koala Conservation Reserve. The owner was the nicest guy! Also not a fan of the toilet and bathroom being together, especially when it's a 2 bedroom apartment so you are likely to have 4 ppl staying at the same time. The blinds didn't cover the window fully, there were plenty gap on the side, if you are a light sleeper you gonna be waking up early. "after stopping by from seeing penguin, i think this is the great place for staying over night. location only few minutes from penguin place and closed to big supermarket and cafes, but you must hv yr own car though.beach is only few minutes walk.I am not sure when summer, because I only experience in winter on july."

"Spacious, modern and clean. We stayed in an upstairs unit which had a nice garden and rural outlook. We were met by the host who provided great tips on things to see and where to eat. We only stayed one night (to see the penguins) and it was very comfortable and good value."

"The room was surprisingly large and spacious with a separate bedroom and bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable and good quality bedding. The bathroom clean and modern with good water pressure. The grounds are like a nature reserve with a myriad of wildlife which really makes feel like your on a country getaway. It was my 2nd stay at Banksia and I will return again. "
