"We checked in after hours so our check in letter was on the counter with all the check in directions. The sliding door, at the ramp to use the cart to transport our luggage inside, was turned off. We had to call the person on call to help who had to call maintenance and they were able to trouble shoot and found that the power to the door was turned off. I think this is the only issue we had. "In the past it was always a breakfast buffet. This time it was by menu. We always looked forward to the breakfast. Would like to see the buffet back. 2nd Our room was clean but needed some updating. Example light sconces in the bathroom were very rusty. Staff wonderful as usual."

"Noise from construction. I killed a roach in the bathroom. No hand towels. No place to put your clothes or hang your towels in the bathroom. Cigarette burns on the bedspreads. Horrible wrinkled curtains. No coffee pot. No vending machines or ice machine. Etc. Etc. The room was like from the 60’s/70’s."

"BarDew Valley Inn and its owner, Perry, were amazing!! The suite decor was fun (ours was a French Chateau), and the common areas beautiful and comfortable. Perry offers a movie room with a huge selection of DVDs, as well as satellite TV in both the common area and each suite. And his breakfast each morning was delicious! We would definitely stay again (and maybe try a different suite!) when we are in that area again."

"I look this place up online after staying there and it was built in 1957. The air conditioning worked well but it was not on when we went in the room so we had to wait a little while for it to cool down. We went out to get something to eat and by the time we got back it was OK. The sheets and pillows had stains on them…didn’t care for that. The toilet and shower were functional but old. The tv had direct tv and access to Netflix, etc, so no issues there. The price was low but I have a hard...

"The only thing good about the stay at this hotel was the checkin was simple the rooms were dirty the toilets were dirty the showers didn't work properly the cabinets were broken the countertop was broken the sink had Brown water in it. The mattresses on the beds were at least 15 to 20 years old very uncomfortable the pillows are decent. The bedding was very outdated air conditioner didn't blow cold only semi-cold."
