I booked a room at 11:30pm then received the confirmation details and looked at the bottom of the page and it said time for check is till midnight. I tried to contact the hotel and the phone kept ringing. I never got ahold of anybody. It didn’t say anywhere on the website that I couldn’t check in at midnight but sure took my money. What a waste of money.

The AC wasnt working it was so hot in the room i stayed in, the sheets on the bed had stains on them, i called to the front and went down to the front to see if theu can change rooms and no one answered my calls or i didn't see anyone so went back up to my room.

The best part of the hotel was leaving. The front lobby looked like picture that’s it. The bathroom was disgusting the whole room was disgusting and not the best area. I would never pick to stay here again.

Building is old and smelly, lobby ceiling has water damdage spots, our bedding was dirty, it had visible dirty spots, for the price they charge I was expecting a better hotel, also it advertised breakfast included, but only offer coffee. Disappointed and pricey.

Horrible stay
Arrived at 415 pm to check in, was greeted by a line of 20 people in the lobby and one employee at the desk. It took nearly an hour to check in and get keys, that did not work, had to go back to the desk. I reserved a King room, got a room with two queen beds, no remote for tv in room. There are prominent signs posted on door and check in counter that read “masks required on property” the employee was not wearing a mask. Completely unacceptable service.

Excellent hotel
Hotel was clean, staff were friendly. Room was clean, beds very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. Only drawback was there was no breakfast area due to Covid restrictions. We were very happy with Tempe by the Mall. It was much better than the original hotel we had booked online. When we arrived the place was terrible as was the room. Went online and found Tempe by the Mall, and my son and I were happy we found it.

Not a Good Place to Stay
The sink needed repair - it worked but definitely had needed repair for a long while. The room needed a good clean - corners, etc. The shower did not work. So we went without a shower!

The room was dirty, black mold on the ceiling, the bed was broken on one side, the bathroom was not clean, hair in the bath tub. When this was mentioned to the staff I was told I was preaching the choir, I need to come back at a later time, and they did not have another room to move me to. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible waste of money, I will not recommend this property to anyone.

I’m rather disappointed in the hotel. I checked in and my original room was filthy. There was hair in the tub, dried food or drink on the desk, and wall paper falling off in several places. I called down and staff was nice and pleasant. They got me another room. This one was cleaner. The bed was comfy but slopes towards the outside. The walls are paper thin every time someone shut their door, you could hear it. I could hear the people next to us all night. Overall it was an okay stay but I probably won’t stay here again.

Unfortunately there was nothing we liked from the hotel. Check in was at 4pm, no bathroom to use until you check in, it was dusty, it was next to a dispensary and people didn’t care and still smoked inside the rooms, hallways wreaked of smoke. Receptionist wasn’t welcoming either... not happy one bit with our stay

Awful!
We had to change rooms 2 times! The first room. Was horrible the bath tub was awful looking! I had wish I taken a photo. We switch rooms because our room ended up flooding somehow. The 2nd room was better the only problem was it was HOT the room did not cool down! I was thinking about change rooms again but didnt want to wake up my 2 little kids to switch rooms after a long new years eve out. My family and I will never stay here again! Please go arcoss the street to the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Tempe at Arizona Mills Mall. We wanted to try a new hotle since we frequent alot to the town of Guadalupe for family.

The bed was very comfortable. The shower was a little old but in good condition. I really enjoyed the fact that there waa on site laundry and I waa able to buy laundry soap there. I was able to park right outside our room. I would definetly stay there again.

The pictures look better than the property. The first room that I checked into, smelled, was dated, had TP pushed into a hole in the door and the door lock was seeping for lower battery. Second room was slightly better.

Don’t stay here.
Around midnight during my stay, my spouse said that he felt something bite him and we checked the room and saw a bedbug. Left it on the counter in the restroom for them to see. Very disgusting!!

Not what I was expecting.... Complex wasn’t lit up at all making it difficult to find...sign wasn’t ever lit and I was told because it’s no longer a “Best Western”. Coffee only available from 6-9am and had no lids to fit the cups. If you requested more towels, we had to bring our dirty ones to the front desk in exchange. Could only access the hotel from main entrance even though our room was all the way towards the back that had a door but they disarmed the card reader. Would have been nice to park in back and come in from that location.

The property was old and needed upgrading. The window curtains were torn and had holes in them. The bedding had cigarette burns. There was garbage on the floor under the desk, that looked like it had been there for a while. The tub appeared to be dirty and the water was like a rushing waterfall, tons of water coming out, very wasteful. My sox were dirty from walking on the floor in the room. Black hair on the bathroom floor. And no normal amenities, breakfast, because of Covid19, but still charging the same amount for the room and holding $50 for amenities or damage. I should get my money refunded for the room rent.

We where Walking up in middle the night to find bedbugs at three in the morning depression at night at the front desk moved us to another desk or you try to advise the young lady in the morning at the front desk and she was rude as hell I got bitten I said how am I going to get reimbursedfor this Do I have to go to urgent care she said to go to the website very rude very unprofessional

This hotel was nice enough. Check in girl seemed put out. Hotel claimed “No Smoking” but my room smelled like stale cigars... my friend said his room smelled like stale cigarettes...
