I knew there would be a problem when we first walked in. The man checking us in seemed confused and was acting like we were a bother. Maybe he was confused because there were no other guests. Then he brought us to our room; to say it looked unkept and outdated would be generous. The furniture was chipped, peeling and stained. I’ve noticed beds in Thailand tend to be firmer, fine, but the pillows were 6inches thick and rock hard, and there was no comforter, only a sheet. I’ve never had my arms fall asleep while sleeping on my back, until now. Moving to the bathroom: the tub was rusted, missing tiles were not replaced, and ironically there was a note about being charged for dirty towels as the one I used had a softball sized hole in the middle. It wasn’t until the next morning, after a sleepless night, that we saw the rest of the hotel in the light of day, which solidified our decision to find another hotel. The pool was dirty and mucky. Even if that interests you, you couldn’t get to it because the path to the pool was blocked by overturned pool chairs. I DO NOT recommend this place. Would not be surprised if it closed soon.

Surin beach 2019

Läget var bra, hotellrummet saknade diverse möbler. Rummen var något slitna, vi hade standardrum. Städningen var ok och personalen var trevlig och tillmötesgående. Frukosten var enkel men ingen större variation. Det var ok att bo där några nätter.

Établissement un peu vieillissant mais la taille des chambres, salle de bain, balcon, compense. La piscine, pourtant fonctionnelle, reste déserte. Sans doute en raison de la proximité de la très belle plage de Surin, à 5 minutes à pieds. Ville calme, peu de circulation, peu d’activité nocturne, parfait pour se reposer.

Mukava hotelli lähellä rantaa. Varatessa en huomannut että hotellissa ei ole hissiä mutta onneksi lapsen rattaat sai jättää aulaan. Hieman kuluneet pinnat mutta hotelli sopi meidän tarpeisiin hyvin. Rauhallisempi katu kuin pääkatu, jonka varrella oli jonkin verran liikennettä.

Det började med att vår bokning inte fanns i deras system men som tur var hade de ett annat rum ledigt som var helt ok! Poolen var inte i bruk men stranden ett stenkast bort och var underbar! Det var inte alls bra städat på toaletten och stora dammtussar låg och där alla 5 dagar. En död kackerlacka hittade vi en morgon också, helt ok wifi och pizzan på hotellet var superbra! Kommer inte bo här igen men helt okej för 5 nätter inte mer! Vi var ju inte på hotellet så mycket, stora rum dock det var ett plus! För 250kr per natt kanske man inte kan räkna med så mycket mer.

Для Сурина нормально.

Отель ветшает. Из дыры в шланге отвода конденсата из кондиционера на пол номера льётся вода, льётся она из бачка унитаза на пол санузла. Телевизор сломан. Зато завтраки вкусные и обильные. Отличное расположение - первая береговая линия. На рецепшене дают пляжные полотенца, циновки и зонтики.

Mia prima esperienza al mare in Thailandia,direi scelta azzeccata Surin Beach per me e compagna con bimbo piccolo.Hotel discreto mare favoloso unica nota dolente strade molto pericolose e inadeguate per i pedoni,girare con bimbi e' un'avventura.

Отель оказался лучше, чем ожидалось. Брали номер супериор. Приличный размер, втроем нормально разместились. Дополнительная кровать была полноценной с хорошим матрацем. большой балкон. блок кондиционера стоит на балконе и от него жарковато. Зато вещи сохли с мгновенной скоростью. По фотографиям пугали красные стены. По факту, красная стена всего одна в номере и не раздражает. в нашем номере мебель стояла более удачно, чем у друзей. Ужинали и в самом отеле и за его пределами. В отеле немного дороговато, разве что пиццу брать выгодно, она большая. Бассейн чистый и почти всегда безлюдный. До пляжа очень близко через дорогу и сквер.. Вообще, расположение отличное. Рядом стоят дорогие отели. Улица нешумная. Пляж отличный. Я переживала, что меня будет раздражать отсутствие лежаков но пляже, но было очень даже комфортно. Купаться отлично и в прилив и в отлив. На пляже полноценных кафе нет, но достаточно перекусов. Сурин понравился больше чем, Бангтао в итоге. Также очень понравился пляж Папси. Попасть на него можно только через холм, справа от пляжа Сурин. На пляже 2 дорогих отеля, мало совсем людей и очень расслабляющая обстановка.

Close to the beach

The hotel is situated close to a lovely beach although the waves were high when we were there. You could get good food on the beach at a good price. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good. They also have an excellent Pizza restaurant with a proper pizza oven and we had one of the best pizzas we have ever had! There is room for improvement around the pool area. The rooms were big and furnishings adequate and although we felt we had better value in other resorts we still enjoyed our stay.

Cheap hotel amid area of expensive hotels

Stayed 23-Nov-2015 for 3-nights in standard room B4 - 2nd floor without breakfast. There are no lifts or porter service. The room was spacious but aircon had a green light. Bed was a thin sheet, however blankets and pillows were available from reception at night. Bathroom was tired looking with tarnished taps and mould on the grouting tiles as well as stains in the bath. Tiny safe in room with no bin or telephone. Swam in pool open till midnight. Beach, although near, was a 10-minute walk to find an access path. Restaurants/food stalls on the beach during the day. Few restaurants 10-mins walk (other side of beach). Hotel was located on a road with many expensive hotels. Taxi from town refused to collect us from hotel to our next hotel as it wasn't in his catchment area (afraid of repercussions from local taxis). You have to catch the expensive taxis by the hotel.

Nice staff but terrible conditions in room

Stayed just for 1 night. What i can say about the owner is the opposite what the room was like. The Italian owner helped us with arranging transport to Koh Phi Phi Don and was very nice. The room for 1st look was ok(superior) but the problems started when we came to the bathroom. The toilet was stuck:great welcoming for new visitors. 2: there were very small insects by the sink. .and also in the room above our heads when we were sleeping (by the power plug). In the morning suddenly our toilet exploded and it looked like a fountain. The whole bathroom floor was wet. One more thing: watch out on low door to the bathroom- we are above 1.80cm height and we hurt ourselves in head. The hotel needs renovation and in the same price and also 3* i definetly reccomend Surintra just 100m away.

Really nice stay in Surin Beach

Originally, I planned to stay for 4 nights. I ended up staying 11 and still found it difficult to leave after that... This testifies how nice of a time I had. Lets list the plus sides of this hotel: - Location is perfect, 3 mins walk from the beach. (It's actually right next to places like the Twinpalm, Chava and DoubleTree resort. These go for about 5 times the rate of Surin Sweet) - All amenities one could need; nice pool, wifi, international tv channels, hairdryer, thee and coffee making facilities, fridge, nice bar, good breakfast, etc - Super nice staff - And all this at a very reasonable price The down sides: - It's old, and especially from the outside, this shows. Didn't bother me though. - Wifi in the room was less then reliable. Lobby/Pool area worked perfect though. - I stayed in a superior room, which has a view. Cheaper rooms look out on a wall. - No elevator. So if you have trouble climbing stairs, ask for a room on the lower floor. The staff is really nice, some nights after hours they go to a bar nearby to shoot some pool, they invite guests to come along too. A nice way to get to know each other and have fun. All in all I would definately recommend this place. It's one of the few affordable places in Surin Beach. I would love to stay again sometime. Thanks guys!

Billigt och bra, får mer än vad man betalar för! Ligger brevid Hilton, bra läge. Hotellet är lite slitet men det är rent och personalen är trevlig!

Cheap, clean with no much comfort

The room was very big and clean. But the hotel is very basic the bed was very very hard, air con in the room very noisy and the toilet kept flushing by itself in the middle of the night.
