The room was amazing and spotless. Comfy bed, large shower with high water pressure and heat, sunroof? window to view the night sky. There is also an outside terrace by the hotel entrance. Gio was also a wonderful and diligent host who was supportive in providing advice for travel and key location; with the hotel located not far from the train station. The buffet had a variety of food, including cakes. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in this area.

Gioi Hotel is a beautiful new boutique property with incredible attention to detail. Giorgio was the perfect host — personable, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making our stay flawless. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and we loved having coffee and water available 24/7. The location couldn’t be better — just a 5-minute walk to the train station and surrounded by great restaurants. A truly exceptional stay — highly recommended!

There’s not enough good I can say about the staff the host Giorgio very hands-on and very helpful. Wanted to take care of the guest did anything extra we needed wanted. Virginia again well maintained she kept the area clean. It was very clean and Ilaria. She was the breakfast cook and every morning we had a fantastic breakfast. We got to try some fruits that were not around at America’s. I would give us a six star rating. It was excellent service. Excellent cleanliness excellent everything so if you want a place to stay out of the way, very quaint small hotel well priced you’d like to go there.

Highly recommended! From the moment we arrived, the owner Gio was incredibly welcoming and greeted us as if we were guests in his own home. Throughout our stay he was always available to ensure everything was perfect and to share helpful tips about getting around the area. The hotel is thoughtfully maintained with great attention to detail, from excellent air conditioning to strong water pressure. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and the breakfast was both delicious and satisfying. Parking was safe and convenient, which made our trip even easier. During our stay we drove to Positano and also took the train to Pompeii, which is only a short walk from the property. We would absolutely choose to stay with Gio again when visiting the Amalfi Coast!

Notre séjour a été un pur régal, un lieu magnifique suivi d’un bel accueil. L’hôtel se situe à proximité de tout (gare, restaurant etc…) La restauration ouvre un éventail à tous plaisirs gustative. Giorgio a été très accueillant, serviable, du propriétaire, aux personnels et au lieu tout a été parfait. Nous reviendrons, c’est sûr ! Merci Giorgio

I had an amazing experience staying at this hotel. Everything was simply perfect — from the stylish and comfortable furniture, to the convenient location and the availability of parking. The breakfast was delicious and well-prepared each morning. What truly made the stay unforgettable were the owners of the hotel. The hospitality and kindness of the owner and his wife were beyond expectations. They were incredibly friendly, warm, and always willing to help. Their taste and attention to detail really show in every corner of the place. I genuinely felt at home, and I want to sincerely thank them for making my stay so special. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful and welcoming experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

This review was more about Expedia failing to know that the hotel was already fully booked, but still sent me a reservation confirmation. The owner of the hotel was very apologetic, and he said he would try to find us a suitable hotel to stay at, since his hotel, the hotel Gioi, was already fully booked. It was a Saturday, almost every hotel in Sorrento was fully booked, so my wife and I drove to another area 30 miles away that we could stay the night. To top things off, my credit card was charged the full amount for the room we never got, and now I will have to try and claw those charges back, because there never was a room available for us. Again, nothing against the hotel Gioi at all, it was Expedia's fault to allow a booking when the rooms were already fully booked!

I had a wonderful stay at Gioi Hotel! The entire place was spotless—so clean and well-maintained, which made it feel incredibly comfortable and welcoming. The hospitality was truly top-notch; the staff went above and beyond to make sure I felt at home. A special mention goes to Ilary, whose cooking was absolutely amazing! Every meal was full of flavor and made with care—you can really taste the passion. I highly recommend Gioi Hotel for anyone looking for a warm, clean, and delicious experience! Even hand written note at the end of our stay!!!
