Nonostante non ci fosse nessuno ad accoglierci, le istruzioni per il check-in sono state tempestive e chiare e ci hanno permesso di accedere senza alcun problema. "The hotel is at the hill of Talkero with beautiful view. They have the bus with several stop to Lerici which is quiet and scenic. We had the seafood spaghetti two times at the Restaurant Defanio and he restaurant nearby Ristorante Il Gambero Nero. They are phenomenal. The hotel also has great breakfast. The welcome drink is a plus. The balcony room with the sea breeze also veryy nice. We enjoyed our stay."

"Hotel is outstanding, it’s over 500 years old and it’s immaculate, food was great, very quiet, first time we have ever stayed in a Palace, room was large with a King bed. My only criticism is that it doesn’t have a true shower. Staff were so polite and accommodating ….we loved the place. Shout out to Lucia who checked us in made us feel so welcome. "Not recommended. The supposed Mountain View room was actually just a small window looking at a hillside/somebody's private garden. The walls were paper thin and you could hear construction in the halls and all over the hotel. In fact, the entire hotel was under construction and smelled like black mold To cap off our disappointment, we had a discrepancy on our checkout date and the owner was extremely rude and gave us 30 minutes to vacate (even though we were an hour and a half away having...

"!!Bed bugs!! Found at 5am in the place is infested. Bites all over us. Proof by pictures and videos and blood on mattress where I killed one. Hotel will not refund and says there’s no proof. Spending the rest of our trip in the laundromat treating our belongings and buying new suitcases. Place smells moldy and like cat pee. Dirty, obviously. -great location, service was great until it needed to step up with the bedbugs and is now ignoring the problem. So disappointed."

"Do not take the hiking path that starts from the town of Vernazza, call a taxi to bring your luggage to the top! We made the mistake of bringing our luggage up the hiking path, which took an hour and 1000ft of elevation! Be wary of Google Maps and ask locals for routes.
