We were in the purple room, which was L shaped and didn’t have a lot of floor space. This establishment is right off one of the main shopping streets- so you get a lot of street noise. "Best property, best staff, best location! I was in Lucca for 1 week and I learned the area and the hotel. Cannot rate high enough. I was stranded by taxi at 9pm in Lucca city. (Long story) Called hotel, they figured out where I was, sent a taxi for me, made late dinner reservations. Thank you Sarah. Nice bathroom, lift, air conditioning that works, big bedroom. "The bed and pillows were too soft for my liking, but that's a personal preference. The junior suite was spacious and comfortable and the shower was good. The gardens are gorgeous and the perfect place to sit for a drink or a quiet (bring your own) lunch or dinner. Breakfast was good, you won't go hungry and Matteo will make your coffee how ever you like it."
