"Everything was great. The only issue was that we tried to order two glasses of wine from the bar next door and they said we could carry them to our room but then they wanted to charge us the room service price. Carrying drinks from the bar to our room was not actually room service so I feel like they were trying to get more money out of us unnecessarily. So we purchased wine at a store elsewhere. Otherwise everything was great."
"Exceptional. The location could not be better. When have you ever stayed in a XIII building? Here’s your chance. Yes, it’s a steep climb with suitcases, but Francesco helped! And yes, you have to climb up and down, but it’s a great workout, plus you get to admire all the old doors in the building and marvel the staircase that folks have been using for several centuries. You are also located right next to an amazing cafe which serves the most delicious coffee and pistachio croissants (yes it’s the best in Genoa). Also, take your host’s recommendations to visit nearby attractions. You won’t be disappointed and they are not in any guidebooks. So go and enjoy Genoa frozen in time with its little carruggie and be surprised. This place is magical. "
Watch a choral concert, an orchestral recital or a dramatic performance with an ornamental street backdrop in the main theater of this historic complex.
Be impressed at the grandeur and history of Genoa’s most prominent religious building, where you’ll find legends, art and even a relic believed to be from the Last Supper.
